friday 1st sept at gwenver . to the guy out back at about 5 pm good stuff until your wipe out loosing your board.i was on sennen top car park watching with binoculars at the awsome surf coming in . bloody hard going coming in watched till you made it in safe.

Anybody else had the privilege of seeing them close up while surfing?

Was just wondering if any one has had an encounter that has left them with a little prezzie in their pants? One such encounter happened on a stunning early morning down in the deep south of New Zealand i was out on a glassey 2/3 ft mellow swell sittin there looking out to sea next thing here this noise behind me to see what i thought was a very large seal poke its head out of the water a few yards back it then disappeared only to appear right below me twistin and twirln knockin at my board, definitely got in my personal space !it rose its head out of the water and i saw a big set of tusks found out it wasnt a seal but a hooker sea lion there about the size of a cow and arent too friendly it then proceded to escort me to the beach one of the heaviest localism i have ever experienced!
