Too jetski or not to jet ski for that is the question?

By Sam at 1:09pm on 3rd Jan, 2007

I don't know what people think of this? There's a chance that jet ski use might be banned in the Mavericks area. I personally think that if you can paddle in at the spot then maybe jet ski's aren't really that necessary?

Mavericks proposal

i would 50/50 agree! even

i would 50/50 agree!

even tho they can paddle into huge sets what happens when they bail! thats alot of water volume to escape from if you get in trouble?

just another thought for the table!

its kinda like playing with fire with no means of putting it out if it goes wrong!

apart from that Eco friendly all the way! would of thought some one would of designed electric PWC by now it would be a great look on water sports and showing we are totaly eco friendly!

just a shame all the toxins that goes into making our boards! still ill be planting some more trees soon!

Just trying to get a few thoughts - I really think that there are some waves that are only possible to get into on jet skis. The new Carve mag got some shots from the O'neil h30 project and that wave is only possible on a jet ski.

Apart from that jet skis on a flat day at the beach are 'all speed and no point' :)
