Ummm surf trip in August

Came up with a plan, take september off work for surf trip france/spain and start new college course in october
(im 26 thought id start again! went to swansea first time not a good plan for a surf and chances of finishing a course!)
Bad news is course starts beginging of September so will be making the trip in August! Up to a month long

Any suggestions on where would be much appreciated Is France/Spain/Portugal any good in August?

I've been to Biarritz at the beginning of September and got plenty of surf but August tends to be a little less reliable. The beach breaks north of Biarritz pick up most swell that's going - I recon that's your best bet lovely warm fun beach breaks...

I'm going to try to do a trip to Europe myself this year for the Autumn - fingers crossed
