Balsa Flite 6' 9" single fin

I never thought I'd sell this, but when needs must...

A truly rare item. A real balsa board, no shaped blank inside and a redwood stringer. 6'9" single fin. The board is constructed around a balsa skeleton (similar to wooden ship builing). The board is laminated with a layer of balsa then sealed with resin. Very light for a wooden board and it should cruise beautifully on any wave you should choose to ride. This board was hancrafted in Equador to ride perfect right hand point breaks. Any questions, please send me a message. It has been dewaxed so if anyone's mad keen I can take some new 'clean' photos. Looks like a beauty, not really up my street, but Oly, have you ever taken the wax off before now!!? Certainly gonna save you a fortune in postage now it's gone!

A genuine bargain too.

ah yes

nope..never had the wax off! I kinda fell in love with it again the other night during the dewax which was a bad thing :-) such a lovely board but it's a little lost in my quiver as I'd pretty much always be riding something else i think...if only i could afford to hold onto so many boards I'd never let it go! It's the sort of board you want for perfect head high glassy rights that peel for miles, but i ain't seen any of those for a long while...

I'd start with 49 degrees; nice family story (if a little dark) that she'll love...Airtime could prematurely halt your marriage though so be carefull :-)

hey bex,

yup, it's at the shop...tell your bro to get down there quick if he wants it; quite a few people saying they're gonna buy it but no cash as yet :-); if i get my bank charges back in the next month i'll probably be reclaiming it myself so move quick :-) i'll keep an eye on my doorstep :-) yeah, good swell on the way...pitty bout the winds eh :-(
