The east Coast is Cooking * Now*

Considering the long drive back from pasty land to my native North Yorks as there seems to be a no brainer swell on the NE coast!

I bet a certain No longer secret reef in the Whitby area i lived near was going off the Richter one of the days when the wind was ok.

Shame we had no good waves in the North Conrwall area for a while :(

i didn't surf the "secret reef" myself but heard from pals it was 12-14ft on the biggger sets... it's been cranking up here for a couple of weeks... no crowds, pumping surf ahhh love up here i do...

i must live in the most wave starved area. ruddy hertfordshire, arsehole of the whole country,traveled up to the east on sat and it was flat always miss out boo hoo.

I left Yorkshire cos it wasnt big enough and consistent enought, the NE is bloody amazing surf when its working, the spots are insanely good if you like slabs.

Cornwall has been shit recently, cant wait for some really epic waves, we had no Hurricane swells this year it sucks!

Yan, do you live at the Saltburn end or scarboro/filey end of the area?
