Water looks gorgeous, crystal clear emerald green ... I went there ages ago (flat as a pancake on my visit) I just remember vaguely that there's a fish factory just behind the dunes that gives off a bit of a pong when it goes off shore?

yeah sam,the factory is still there,but it's a lot better than the last time i went there about 6 years ago,i was chating to some of the locals and they really done some work to it.
i was surfing at peniche about an hour north of lisbon,most of the time i surfed at baleal,which is just up the road from supertubes,peniche,stayed with a wicked surfcamp called baleal surfcamp 2 bro's called marco and bruno run it.water was cool when the sun went in but that wasn't often,it also has a reef on the other cove and i saw it work on just one day,but when it did boy was it good,about 6-7 feet and glassy.would definatley reccomend it as they can pick you up from the airport too.
