Cross thread posting

By Sam at 9:49am on Fri, 15th Feb

The forums have been a bit 'weird' recently. There seems to be a lot of cross thread posting and duplicate posts. What this means is a post is posted to a thread or conversation that is not related, for example a post about artificial reefs in a discussion about Surf Tech surf boards. Not related so not very helpful to people looking for information about Surf Tech.

I'm trying to keep the forums helpful, useful, informative and fun. The forums can be used to post about anything that interests you it doesn't have to be surf related. Most probably you surf or have surfed so if it interests you it probably will interest other like minded people who use this site.

If you have a particular cause that you want to champion and publicises, a full blown article may be the best way of presenting the information. You can contact me by using my contact form and I'll help put one together.

Okay Sam out

Thread

Thats because if you dont fix the site, you can only add comments on certain pages! Its doing my head in, i will probably unsuubscribe if you dont fix it.

Useless!

It has been months! :(

Tomorrow afternoon!!

Hey man I've been away surfin' :) Surf bum at heart not a computer geek.

But tomorrow afternoon is D day - I'll be looking at fixing it. So by the end of this week it should be back to normal. Actually better than normal - hopefully there should be a lot more stuff going on in the next few months ...

Hang in there with this ramshackle site.

Hey Sam,

Looks like you been having fun although there has been some epic waves here recently in the SW and 2 weeks of offshore wind!

Sorry to moan its just i havent been able to respond to anything!

Cheers

Rob M :)

Get of the pc and go surfing

Get of the pc and go surfing then, just think how us southcoasters are feeling, it`s been flat for some time now, plus im out of work. Bummer :(

PC

I only make posts when im at work, i dont even have the internet at home because i dont need it. Not when Fistral beach is 200yds away!

We have had tons of clean 3-4 ft days and quite a few bigger down here in SW, why not get off your ass and find some swell, or get a job and stop putting posts on the internet you hypocrite!

hehe,

Only joking, good luck job hunting!

:)

Looking better?

Should be looking heaps better now - can you do me a favour and anyone else who reads this. Have a good click round the site and tell about bits that look broken.

Things that I know about are the tides on the forecast pages and the animated charts which are in the process of being fixed.
